1. What Cup Pong League provides
Cup Pong League (“CPL”) provides a mobile-friendly tournament system for organizing, viewing, and managing live cup pong tournament events. CPL tools can include account creation, phone verification, tournament rentals, team registration, table assignments, brackets, standings, score submissions, organizer controls, public live views, ranking pages, map pins, transactional text messages, and transactional emails.
CPL provides software and tournament-management tools. Venues, hosts, and tournament organizers are responsible for their own event operations, local rules, safety, age checks, alcohol policies, prizes, and legal compliance.
2. Accounts, eligibility, and public usernames
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
- Your CPL username is the public name shown on tournament pages, national stats, global stats, and ranking areas. First and last names are for account records and should not be publicly displayed by CPL ranking pages.
- CPL may reject, edit, or remove usernames, profile images, team names, reports, or submitted content that are abusive, hateful, misleading, impersonating another person, illegal, spammy, or otherwise unsafe for the CPL community.
- CPL may lock, suspend, or delete accounts that abuse the system, manipulate scores, harass users, evade security checks, or violate these terms.
3. Phone verification, SMS, and email notices
CPL uses phone verification and transactional messages to keep tournament flows moving. By creating or using an account, joining tournaments, renting the system, or enabling organizer tools, you agree that CPL may send necessary account, verification, tournament, table, score, security, organizer, and support-related messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe from SMS where supported.
CPL may also send transactional emails such as account notices, verification messages, password/account recovery, tournament purchase/rental notices, organizer notices, support messages, or data/account deletion confirmations.
4. Tournament-system rentals and checkout
- Tournament rentals are purchased through CPL’s checkout flow and payment partners, including Whop when applicable.
- Each rental is for operating a specific in-person cup pong event at the venue or location supplied by the organizer. It is not a subscription to digital media, virtual currency, or downloadable content.
- All CPL tournament-system rental and marketing purchases are final. CPL provides zero refunds.
- A rental may be limited by time, tournament count, organizer controls, or other rules shown during checkout or inside the CPL system.
- A tournament name cannot be used by two active tournaments at the same time. Archived tournament names may become available again.
- Purchasing or starting a tournament does not guarantee attendance, revenue, venue approval, prize eligibility, or legal approval for the event.
5. Tournament organizers
Organizers are responsible for running their event fairly and safely. Organizer tools may include starting or pausing stages, filling tables, checking teams in, resolving disputes, correcting scores, marking winners, archiving tournaments, and managing tournament status. Organizers must use those controls only for the tournament they own or are authorized to manage.
- Organizers must not use CPL to facilitate illegal gambling, underage drinking, harassment, unsafe conduct, or deceptive event listings.
- Organizers must follow venue rules, local laws, and any applicable age restrictions.
- CPL may audit organizer actions, remove organizer access, archive tournaments, or correct tournament data when needed to protect the platform.
6. Players, teams, scores, and disputes
- Players and teams must submit accurate information and must not impersonate another CPL user.
- Score submissions, confirmations, forfeits, overtime flags, and bracket advancements are subject to CPL validation and organizer/admin review.
- CPL may correct scores, standings, brackets, rankings, or points if there is a mistake, duplicate submission, abuse, technical issue, or organizer/admin correction.
- Prelim, warm-up, or qualifying games may be handled differently from official tournament games and may not count toward public ranking points unless CPL states otherwise.
7. Rankings, points, profile images, and tournament images
CPL may display public ranking information using usernames, profile images, event counts, wins, overtime records, placements, and points. Ranking data is intended to encourage play and may be corrected if CPL finds errors, abuse, duplicate records, fake accounts, or test data.
Uploaded profile images and team images must be appropriate and lawful. CPL may resize, crop, compress, remove, or reject images to keep the site fast, safe, and consistent. Temporary tournament images may be removed after tournaments are archived or completed.
8. Find CPLs Near Me and map pins
The CPL map is meant to show active or approved CPL locations and recurring tournament organizers. Map pins may require organizer qualification, consistent CPL usage, admin approval, location verification, and ongoing activity. CPL may remove or update map pins that are inactive, inaccurate, temporary, abusive, or no longer qualified.
9. Privacy and data
CPL collects and uses account, tournament, SMS, email, ranking, location, and support information to operate the platform. For more detail, review the CPL Privacy Policy and data options.
10. Changes, availability, and contact
CPL may update these terms as the system grows. CPL may also update, pause, archive, restrict, or remove features to protect users, improve performance, maintain security, or comply with legal or provider requirements.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@cuppongleague.com.
These CPL Terms are platform terms for the Cup Pong League system. They are not legal advice. Venue operators and tournament organizers should review their own local obligations before hosting public events.
